Dear Daughter,

I know this is a tough time for you. During it please remember that I'm cheering for you, I love you and I believe in you.
It's an instinct to be unhappy about challenges, to feel the unfairness is a part of the process. If you can pause for a moment, ask yourself this question? What skill, character trait or resource do I need to acquire to solve this? Then relax your mind, take a break from trying to figure it all out. The answer will come to you. It will hit you like a lighting bolt and you will feel powerful again. At that moment begin to acquire that answer you found within.

Do this and you will become more, and that problem will never hurt you again.

Mom and I love you dearly!

Do you know a kid who is sensitive?

Often times our choice of language can create emotional intensity. Mohammad Ali was a master of this.

"I'm so fast, last night hit the switch to my bedroom was in the bed before the room was dark!"

It's called Rhetoric and the key is to use Rhetoric, on the positive emotion. Kids will say: "I'm starving," "Everyone hates me." "This is backbreaking work!" Rhetoric, increases emotion reguardless of the emotion is positive or negative.

This is why we teach our students to use rhetoric on positive emotions and rational speech on negative ones. Try it with your kids.

Don't work overtime...

Work... over... time.

Instead of asking how much can I do?
Ask, how many days in a row can I do this?

It builds powerful momentum and it utilizes the law of compounding.

Our up coming ACE training is going to help our students develop this skill. We are going to achieve a big goal (thousands of reps) with consistency. Doing small efforts everyday.

It's the way to develop self-discipline, consistency and long term thinking.

It also can help with screen time addiction, homework habits and healthy living.
