Our Lady ducks brought it this weekend at the Swing into Spring tournament. Swing we did! The Lady ducks scored 76 points through the weekend, allowing only 9 against us. We went undefeated (7-0) over the weekend bringing home the championship! The energy and intensity they played with was on fire and they showed everyone why they’ve been working so hard.

Special thank you to everyone who showed up to support the Lady Ducks. Especially our late night games and our championship Sunday! It was ugly weather but you all stuck it out to support the girls and it means so much to all of us! Great job girls!

Our first time going to play in Artesia, let’s see what this tournament has in store for us. Whatever is thrown our way the Lady Ducks 10u is ready. If you can make your way to watch us, tune into our game changer feed!

Our 12u Lady Ducks put in some work this weekend going 5-3 at the Gila Monster in Silver City, losing only to the 1st place team. We ended the tournament taking 2nd place over all. Each girl put 100% of themselves into this tournament, and it showed! The coaches are so proud of each and every girl! Way to show Silver City what we are made of.

Parents, thank you for showing up for your kids and for us we couldn’t do it without you and I know this tournament was hard on everybody getting home late and having to be back at the field extremely early and some of you having to travel back-and-forth, but everyone showed up for their kids and we couldn’t thank you more.

Special shoutout to all of our MVP’s
Isabella Huerta-2 MVP’s- played at catcher every single game for us except for one inning
Brielle Reza- 2 MVP’s- kept our outfield secure and saved us multiple runs in an elimination game!
Scarlett Teague- 2 MVP’s- pitched in 4 and 1/2 games for us securing the wins in all of these games to keep us advancing in the bracket.

Ale Baca-1- pitched 3 1/2 games for us keeping one of the toughest teams in the state at bay for us. She had some big offensive plays as well that kept us scoring moving up through the bracket!
Daleyza Madrid-1- had multiple RBI’s and hit a home run against the toughest team at the tournament, also had some big stops at shortstop as to keep us advancing in elimination games!

What’s special about these selections is that all of them are chosen by the coaching staff of the teams we played against so these girl really stood out!
