Trinity Prep Basketball Trinity Prep Basketball is a Christ-Centered Traveling Club As a Christian club we are similar to a church. The only one who is perfect is Jesus. No teaching.

We will accept you as you are, however we expect you to exhibit Christ-like attitudes and behaviors while you are apart of our organization. We will continually show you God's love and grace and pray that our actions will bring you to a closer relationship with Jesus. However, we will continually strive for excellence on and off the court. No individual in the Trinity Prep Basketball organization,

including coaches, are paid. All are volunteers, who make many personal sacrifices to help youngsters learn, play and enjoy the game of basketball. Team parents just as critically important to our success. Without them, there is no team. No mentoring. No enrollment in leagues, clinics and tournaments. No opportunity for student athletes to grow through participation in team sports.

9 years ago, the TPB family received news that we never thought we would receive. James Sanchez received his wings and joined with the Lord above. During his time on Earth, he was one of the most active parents for our program. Before every practice and after every game, he would call or text Coach Rick at 6 AM and ask what the next game plan is. Every time we had tournaments fee to pay, he would reach out for sponsors and donors to help reduce cost. He always was an example of unconditional love.

Not only was he there for his daughter, Julie, but he was there for every single athlete in our program. James will forever set that golden standard of parent involvement and supporter for our program. He would be loudest parent from the stand. When we would watch old films, he always giving positive affirmations to everyone. His favorite line to his daughter was always “There you go, baby!” Or “BOOM!”—every time she sets the perfect screen.

James, you may not be here with us physically but you are here spiritually. Please continue to cheer and support us from Heaven. We know the Lord above is lucky to have your presence up there, and we will continue to take care of your family here on Earth.

You will forever be our #1 fan for Trinity Prep Basketball. 💜🤍🏀

WE REPRESENTED DELANO AND PLACED BRONZE! 🥉

Congratulations to our Lady RIsing Stars for fighting it through the very end! These athletes definitely earned this. Prior to this trip, the organization had limited time and space to practice. We were fundraising back-to-back to cover travel expenses. While being up in San Diego, our athletes faced hardships and made it to end TOGETHER. Congratulations to these athletes for this sweet victory! They truly represented Delano with their Christ-like actions and strong determination. SO PROUD OF THEM!

This is our testimony—an experience that holds a significance within Christian faith—since 2010.

One of Coach Rick’s favorite saying is “There’s no such thing as a coincidence. It is all God’s timing.” What this organization had gone through from 2010 to now is a blessing to many. This organization has brought athletes and their families together with others. Every member had great relationship with one another and now carry lifelong memories.

We hope to have people join our journey of loving basketball and serving others through God’s words.
