Got my 2nd win on the Amateur Players Tour on Sunday! What is even better, is that my dad also won his division. We played a windy round at TPC Harding Park where the 2020 PGA Championship was held.

I started off super hot with 4 birdies on the front 9 but finished the 9 with 3 straight bogeys. On the back I had to scramble a lot to save par in the windy conditions with the 2nd place guy only a couple shots back. We were battling it out the whole way and fortunately I was able to keep my solid round together to capture the W!

Last weekend I competed in my first national major against players from across the US on the Amateur Players Tour at the world famous PGA West Nicklaus and Stadium Course. Played my best round all year on Saturday and shot a solid 74 with a chip in for birdie on 18 putting me 1 back of the lead going into Sunday. Sunday I started off pretty slow and couldn’t quite catch back up to the leader but ended up still finishing 2nd! It was a blast and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places all were from the Rocky Mountain Tour which is pretty cool. Tomorrow I compete again at another PGA Tour stop in San Francisco at TPC Harding Park.

Happy to say I won my first tournament on the Amateur Players Tour this weekend! Such a fun day, at Angel Park GC in Las Vegas. It was a close battle the whole day and had to scramble to pull off the W. Ended up closing it out to win by 2 strokes in 100 degree windy weather. Looking forward to playing in my tour events and hopefully grab some more wins!

Had my best finish on tour so far. Shot a solid 75 to finish 2nd! Was tied for the lead going into 18, but it’s tough to beat an opponent who Eagles 18 while I bogeyed.
