Come meet the NIU Physics Department and have an out-of-this-world experience! 🔭

Stop in and say hello to the NIU Autism Caregiver Group (College of Health & Human Sciences ) and create your own kite! 🪁

It's a day full of community and family fun!

KiteFest is THIS SUNDAY, September 13, from 11:00 AM - 3:30 PM at Kiwanis Park! 🪁

Join us for free family fun, including a Kids' Zone, DJ entertainment, connecting with local organizations, food vendors, and -of course- kite flying! Professional kite flyers will take to the skies, and you can join in the fun! Bring your own kites, or purchase one on-site (while supplies last)!

Make sure you come visit our delicious food vendors!

Happy International Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day! ⛳

📣 We wanted to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Golf Maintenance Superintendent Mike Siefken, Assistant Superintendent of Golf Maintenance Dakota Johnson, and Golf Course Equipment & Grounds Specialist Danny Slinkard, for all of the hard work that they put in to keep both River Heights and Buena Vista Golf Courses looking their best.

🎭 Calling all aspiring young stars! 🌟

Step into the spotlight with our one-of-a-kind youth theater program!

Whether you’re looking to boost your confidence, master stage presence, or try acting for the very first time, this is your chance to shine. Over 8 fun-filled sessions from September 19 - November 21, participants ages 7 to 17 will build skills in voice projection, character development, and teamwork.

Participants will practice scenes and lines, leading up to perform the original musical "Watch Me in Wonderland" in front of a live audience! Every participant is guaranteed a speaking part, and the program fee includes all sessions, costumes, props, and the final show.

🎩 Join Alice on a magical journey through Wonderland as she sets out to rescue her sister, Louise. In this all-original musical, Alice will encounter quirky tea-party guests, wild creatures, and new surprises.
