Did you know your coach hold certificates in both personal training AND youth exercise? Adding a personal training and Pilates to my conditioning practice was a game changer to my performance in the circle. As a rural coach who came from a glorified sandbar, I know that sometimes finding qualified coaches who truly understand body mechanics can be like finding a needle in a haystack. And when you do find them, it’s a haul to get to them.

Going through this course I had so many lightbulb moments and pieces that I’ve wondered about how they connect finally slipped into place. I am looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned!

What a way to start the season. I’ve got my calendar marked and my oldest is looking forward to it too.

If only Barnstable Public Schools had an alumni game…what I would give to throw to a batter in a game again. Will my shoulder hold? Idk. Will my hand go numb? 100%. I would try it anyway. Because that’s the love of the game.

But watching from the stands athletes that I coached on both teams at this game- that’s pretty cool too.

I am so thankful for the continued use of the DISES gym! On Monday we start SMALL GROUPS, breaking out the beginners and the inter/advanced throwers. This will allow our time to be focused on individual questions, dive into sequencing, fluidity and specific goals.

Parents, please catch for your pitcher or arrange for an advanced skilled catcher.

I have one spot left in each time slot, afterwards I will take a cancellation list.
