Senior high went 1-1 today after losing in sudden death to an extremely physical West Memphis team.
Junior high went 2-0 today!

Reminder for FEMALE girl basketball athletes. Junior high tryouts are happening this Thursday after school.

Physicals are AAA required. If you got one for cheer this year or last year. You will be covered.
Bring athletic clothes and tennis shoes or basketball shoes.

It is tryout time for GIRLS basketball tryouts! 6th-8th graders received a school email for the link for the form. Senior High will not have tryouts, if interested in joining the senior high team, email Coach Morris.

-tennis shoes
-athletic clothing
-pony tail (your hair must be put up and away from face)
-Physical
**If you got a physical for cheer tryouts or were previously on a school team, you will not need a new physical.

Tonight the Dragonettes’ 2025-2026 season ended.
The girls finished 18-17 overall.
Fourth in conference.
Fourth in Regionals.
State appearance for the first time since 2000.
The growth of this team from summer until now was amazing to see. These girls put in hard work, long hours, sacrificed, and bought in. You don’t get to some of the success we’ve had without the girls doing their part.

Shout out to our parents and to our community. The love that has been shared the past couple of weeks from getting the bid to state until tonight. Even before district tournament there was support: all the road trips to support to away facilities and to our home gym. Everyone has helped in some capacity to support our girls and it was seen and greatly appreciated.

Let’s see what next season brings.
