🫎 Moose 🫎

Moose is a 16 year old Spotted saddle draft cross gelding standing 16.1hh broke to ride and drive. This is your next solid trail mount, suitable for husbands! He goes out confidently alone or in groups, follows or leads. He’s not spooky and is such a comfy mount! Has a nice strided walk, cute little job and smooth lope. Used to dogs, machinery, etc. Ties, loads, hauls, bathes. If you want to feel like you have a hearty, solid horse under you- who also catches everyone’s eye- come meet Moose! Carrots in last photo. 💛Buttercup💛

Here’s the one we always see ISO ads for- safe, steady, sweet, NOT silly! Buttercup is a 10-12 year old Halflinger mare standing a stout 14.1hh. If you’re looking for something who your kids will feel comfortable learning on, or one to throw your husband on to join you on the trails, Buttercup will make a good match. She walks up to you in the pasture, puts her head in the halter, and meanders slowly along to the hitching post. This mare keeps her head low, and her “naughty” is slowing down or stopping - exactly what a new or unsteady/nervous rider needs. If you need a horse who you’d feel comfortable putting grandma on, Buttercup will take care of her. She’ll buddy seat, cross water, bridges and logs, bathe, load, haul, stand tied all day long, and won’t rush to get back to the herd when riding at the farm. She is the definition of a push ride, plunk along trail horse and her perfect size makes her a good option for kids and adult riders alike. Buttercup is used to dogs, machinery, chaos, etc - to be honest, I’ve never seen this horse spook. She is UTD on feet (barefoot), teeth, and worming. Pastured in a large mixed herd. Sometimes you wish you could keep them around just because of how pretty they look in the pen 😍
