The 1923 Society is proud to be the first for-profit Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) collective supporting Wildcat football student-athletes.
Founded by a group of passionate and experienced operators, The 1923 Society is committed to helping Wildcat football student-athletes navigate and thrive in the rapidly evolving NIL landscape.

We come from diverse backgrounds, but when we unite, we form one powerful, unstoppable community. The passion of Wildcat Nation is matched only by the talent and heart of the student-athletes who represent us.
WHY A FOR-PROFIT COLLECTIVE MATTERS
While NIL rights now exist, many HBCU communities have not fully capitalized on this opportunity.
We deeply respect and appreciate the work of existing non-profit initiatives supporting the university, athletic department, and student-athletes. Our goal is not to replace or diminish those efforts, but to complement and expand them.
Non-profit structures can face limitations in scale, flexibility, and reachโnot due to effort or intention, but due to legal and operational constraints. A for-profit NIL presence allows us to:
