County resident requirement on HOLD. Good thing for Nevada Fi****ms Academy & Range posting updates, since I’ve yet to receive anything from NVSCA 🙄

Well, apparently someone spoke up, and someone listened. We have a good organization running things. The county specific CCW is on hold. It appears they will review that decision.

Thank you Nevada Fi****ms Academy & Range for posting this! As a CCW instructor, I was never notified by NVSCA of this change 😡

For any NV residents wanting to get their CCW, you will now have to take the class in the county you reside.

As CCW instructors who travel to teach (I cover Washoe, Carson, and Lyon), we are waiting to hear if we have to stay in the county that we reside or if we can continue conducting our business in the counties that we’ve already paid our business license fees to.

For anyone wondering where I teach now that I don't have a classroom...how about your living room!? While some folks prefer the classroom environment with other students, a lot of folks don't. The last two CCW classes I have taught, have been in the comfort of the student's home! I've taught a husband/wife couple and a husband/wife/father-in-law group, all in their living rooms while they sat on their couches in their jammies with snacks! Plus, bring me 5 or more of your friends/family for the same CCW class, save $20/per student off the $120/per student CCW fee!
