Warriors lost to Bradley Knights 5-2 on Thursday.
Bradley Knights got on the board in the top of the first inning after a passed ball scored two runs, and Gunner Guill singled, scoring one run.
Bradley Knights added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Warriors committed an error, and Jordan Richards doubled to center field, each scoring one run.
Mason Grimes stepped on the bump first for Warriors. The lefty allowed four hits and five runs (two earned) over three innings, striking out six and walking six. Alex Belz stepped on the hill first for Bradley Knights. The right-handed pitcher surrendered zero hits and two runs over one and one-third innings, striking out four and walking four.
Cadden Layne and Cole Mantooth were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Warriors.
Richards went 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Gavin Prestenbach went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Bradley Knights in hits. Blake Taylor paced Bradley Knights with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Bradley Knights were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. May 7, 2026 vs. Dallas Lions
Dallas Lions scored four runs in the second inning, which helped them defeat Warriors 6-0 on Thursday.
Dallas Lions were the first to get on the board in the first when Alex Godfrey singled, scoring one run.
Dallas Lions added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Daniel Dauenhauer singled to the left side of the infield, Godfrey singled to right field, Mateo Momanyi singled to the left side of the infield, and Anson Douglas grounded out, each scoring one run.
Dallas Lions added one run in the third. Dauenhauer lined out, making the score 6-0.
