Welp, that’s a wrap! The Davison Golf Teams had their season end banquet last night, and what a celebration it was. Immense thanks to Coach Jimmy Jarman and Trevor Smith for all the hard work this season and effort they put into these Varsity and JV teams. Special thanks to Matthew Carver and Samantha Longo-Carver for the custom made trophies and sweet treats, and to Ashley Ploof and the Davison Country Club for the impeccable job taking care of tonight’s banquet. It was beyond expectations. Thank you thank you thank you. Until next season Cards!

Varsity Golfers Max Morris and Will Latchana (both juniors) competed in the D1 MHSAA State Championship as individual qualifiers this past Friday and Saturday at Ferris State. They represented Davison well! Morris landed in top 10 and Latchana in top 20 this year out of a field of approximately 120. Coaches Jarman and Smith were huge supports to these athletes throughout the weekend: “It was an honor coaching Max and Will this year and very proud of both their performances. Will battled hard through some bad breaks on day 1 and bounced back nicely on day 2 to finish 20th. Max played solid and steady for both days staying in the hunt and earning a 7th place finish.” Job well done. Looking forward to next season already.
