It’s easy to talk about how motivated you are, what you’re going to do, or how different things will be this time.

But none of that changes anything.

Instead of trying to convince yourself that you’re serious, do something that proves it.

Take the first step. Then worry about the rest.

This is the type of strength I care more about as I get older.

Not just how much weight you can lift. But whether you can control your body, move through challenging positions, stay stable, and still feel athletic.

That’s what “functional” strength should actually mean.

Not circus tricks. Not random hard exercises for the sake of being hard.

Just building a body that’s strong, mobile, stable, and capable.

This overhead Bulgarian split squat is a great example.

After spending the last week reflecting and trying to process the overwhelming emotions we experienced in our wedding, we are left with a deep sense of gratitude for all the love we've received.

We are so fortunate to have such a caring group of family and friends who have gone out of their way to support us throughout our entire journey.

To everyone who helped put this wedding together, you honestly exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have asked for a more magical evening.

Annette got engaged shortly after she started training with me almost a year ago.

Besides her initial goals of getting stronger and leaner, we now had an objective that trumps all the others: looking amazing in her wedding dress!

The results speak for themselves.

These are the type of success stories that make my work so rewarding. Not only did I have the opportunity to help Annette with her fitness, but I also had the honor to prepare her for one of the most impactful days of her life.
