We will have a planning meeting on Wednesday, April 1st at 5:30pm at Winfield's to discuss plans for the next David City Summer Fest. If your group would like to participate in the Summerfest on June 6th, we would welcome your input at the meeting.

We will have planning meeting on Wednesday, January 14th at 5:30pm at Winfield's to discuss plans for the next David City Summer Fest.

The summer fest date has not been set yet, but will probably be in June 2026.

Even though some of the community groups who hosted an event for last year's summer are interested in hosting again, we are still looking for a few individuals who are willing to be part of the core planning committee. If this becomes an annual event, we need a committee to make it work! (fundraising, treasurer, publicity & social media, street permits & building usage, logistic coordinators for PA systems, trash cans, picnic tables, porta-potties, fencing, tents, etc.)
If your group has any interest in hosting an event for the celebration, I hope to see you at the meeting.
