Coles County 6/21/25 Recap:
Rough night last night! In hot laps the car in front of him turned left off the wall and he had no where to go, bent the front axle. Got it fixed, and went back out for non wing heat. He was on his game and determined to go from the back to the front! He went P5 to P3 in non wing heat. Which got him the 5th starting position in a field of 18. A Class Heat, he finished 5th, as the track changed we needed a gear change. Made some adjustments and went out in the feature with a strong start, he was running it up to the front, when his wrist restraints got twisted and while trying to fix them he got a little sideways in turn 4 and lost a couple spots. He kept charging on the outside battling back and forth with several cars, when he tried to split the middle of two, he hopped the right rear of one of them and flipped. This ended the night early and we had to scratch the non wing feature. Another axle bent and a long list of parts destroyed, but the determination and drive he had was awesome! We plan to get the car fixed and be back at it next weekend. Thank you to Jake, Rob, Rick, and Chris for helping us fix the car! We couldn’t have done it without you! Here’s the A Class feature video & the tumble!
