Do you follow through on promises you make to yourself?

👍This doesn’t have to be difficult. Commit to making small changes on daily or weekly basis and then look how far you’ve come at the end of the week/month/year.

👍 It’s the small, mostly unremarkable actions taken consistently that make the most difference, not sporadic bouts of intensity.

👍 This is oftentimes boring. In a world full of extreme views and actions, be the boring one 😝

Full body workout using one sandbag????? Yes, please!

2. Squat
3. Back lunge
4. Overhead press

You cover 4 foundational movement patterns in just one combo exercise using my . It really doesn’t get move effective than this.

Tight ham strings?🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀😑😑😑😑

⚡️Re think your approach to stretching

⚡️Our muscles don’t work in isolation and don’t stretch in isolation either. Our ham strings connect to our back muscles and we are engaging them in these stretches to loosen the hamstrings

⚡️By using dynamic stretching combined with breath work, we can go deeper into the release and loosening of the muscle

⚡️I am using mobility balls which give me greater feed back (I.e. I feel the stretch more 😝)

Don’t these exercises just LOOK like they would feel amazing??? 💪👍🥰😀

Do you consume enough protein? 💪💪💪💪💪

Here are some quick facts:

1. 💪Women need 1-2 grams per kg of weight (roughly half your weight in lb)

2. 💪Timing of protein is not important in relation to workouts and its absorption, overall amount daily matters more

3. 💪The smaller the muscle, the faster its loss. Consequently, muscle in the face is first to go leading to that gaunt and sunken look you often see with low calorie diets

4. 💪To sure you hit your protein goals, aim for 20-40 grams per meal

Leave them better than you found them

Will Smith, amongst his many talents, is best known for one particular quality: his incredible work ethic.

But doing your best doesn’t have to be limited to work ethic alone.

While it’s not possible to give the best performance every day, you can still GIVE the BEST of what you have each and every single day.

❤️That best might mean just getting out of bed when you’re depressed, sick, and overwhelmed to make sure your kids are fed. This might not seem like a lot but many people don’t bother to do even that.

❤️It’s choosing not to respond in anger at someone’s irresponsible driving at the end of a long day but to extend them grace.

❤️ It’s a decision to always speak the truth, or at least not lie, when it comes to important matters, and everything is an important matter.

At the end, all these little choices add up to a very sizable legacy that is left behind. Make sure you leave a good one ❤️

All trainers are the same… just pick one!

Do you really believe that? I hope not!

Here are some facts:

⚡️ There are 6 nationally accredited programs. Is everyone trainer certified through them? No! Anyone can go online and become a personal trainer in a couple of hours through any number of phony certification sites. Some trainers don’t even have any certs. Do your due diligence and ask your trainer about the certification process they went through.

⚡️A trainer should not follow fads or make you throw up during workouts. That’s not training, that’s just stupid. Unless you’re training for an elite team of Navy SEALS, I highly doubt you’ll need to to ever perform 100 wall burpees or jump rope for 20 minutes straight.

⚡️Make sure your trainer listens and adjusts your workouts based on your needs and preferences, not on what he/she thinks your needs should be.

⚡️ And finally, make sure you feel comfortable with your trainer. You should never have to impress or risk “disappointing” your trainer. Speak up if you don’t like the way things are going. Chances are, you’ll be doing them a favor as well because they can learn from their mistakes!

Despite what you hear, there are no shortcuts!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

In the last 20-30 years, the TV, internet, radio have exploded with exclusive “secrets” to anything and everything ranging from losing weight to becoming a millionaire. In “3 easy steps”.

Here, I’ll let you in on a little secret of mine: “ THERE IS NO SECRET!!!!!!!”

No one out there can change your life except for you. No one can take the work out of working for you and wrap it up with a pretty bow.

⚡️I didn’t start weight training until I was 34 years old and when I started, I couldn’t do a single push up off my knees

⚡️Everything I know about fitness and nutrition I learned from experience, books, podcasts, certifications, and expert trainers over many years

⚡️Progress is not linear. You may feel on top of the world today but tomorrow feel like a complete fool. That’s all part of growth and is also where many people give up

⚡️You have to struggle. If you’re not struggling and or - put bluntly - sucking at something, you’re probably not growing. What you struggle with will change but chances are there will always be a point of discomfort in your life on which you’re working

⚡️Give yourself a chance to learn, fail, make mistakes. Few things spring up overnight and if they do, they’re probably a w**d
