Going out on top with another Championship winning the Rowdy in Richmond tournament today. This was our final weekend of the summer together. These boys finished 43-23-4 together between fall and spring/summer. We won 6 championships together and was runner up 5 times. With a whole lot of development and improvement throughout our team. Heck of a season guys the coaching staff is super proud of you all. Congrats to Layton Hager with 1, Kip Mcnew with 2 and Collier Funkhouser with 5 out of the Park Homeruns this weekend.

Our 8u team went to Indianapolis this weekend and had a blast. We got to watch the Toledo Mud Hens and their #2 prospect Max Clark vs the Indianapolis Indians as well as play in the 9u A World Series after the 8u AA Event was cancelled. We managed to go 2-1 in pool play in our first kid pitch event. We lost our first bracket game but we put together one heck of an effort against one of the top 9u A teams in the Country and lost 12-8. Couldn’t be prouder of the fight and determination this group showed this weekend. The future is bright for this group of boys.

Also shoutout to Noah Benedict this weekend. They gave an MVP award to a player on the runner up team and Noah was our MVP this weekend. Congrats Noah keep working hard!

KMA 8u played hard and finished Runner-up this weekend at the new Bourbon County Sports Park. Shoutout to Kip Mcnew for his out of the park Homerun today.

KMA 8u came up short this weekend however we owe some shoutouts to Wilson Wiley, Kam Cook and Everett Hutcheson on out of the park home runs. Congrats guys
