I started the day with a beautiful Spring morning run on Danville Mountain with . He ran this same distance 35 minutes faster a week ago, so I’m thankful he took it easy on me so we could kick off his birthday together. Happy Sing Along Saturday!

Sing along Saturday with my girl. We used this as a pep up on our way to the track for some work. Every run is a blessing, but they’re better with her.

So many things about this run did not go as planned. Regardless, I am thankful for the miles I did get in, thankful for running pals, thankful for safety, and thankful for a pal, who rescued me out of the storm and got me home safely.

I’ve been feeling really good lately with my running and strength training. So today I decided to use the motivation from the runners at The Kindness Classic and nice temperatures to see what I could do for a fast mile. I’m very pumped about how it went.

My girl is growing too fast. I want to be sure to cherish one of these moments we get to spend together. I am so proud of the young woman she is.

One Hour Track Run! I am pumped with how well this went. I have had a good week of running, but I thought my legs were just about empty of any kind of push. Thankful they proved me wrong.
