The Southside Winter Pro-Am Series

The Southside Winter Pro-Am Series This program has been in place for area golfers for over 40 years. Team golf play during the winter months. Play is each Friday starting at noon.

The Southside Winter Pro-Am Series is a weekly event held on Fridays during the late fall and winter months. Each week is hosted by a different course. Our region includes such cities as Bassett and Danville in Virginia as well as Burlington, Reidsville, and Salisbury in North Carolina. We would love for you to come and tee it up with us for some friendly competition and fellowship.

The final Player Performance Points Race totals are calculated. Mike Sigmon of Danville, VA is this year's champion with 355 points. In second place was Todd Harris of Reidsville, NC with 310 points. In third place also from Reidsville,NC was Donnie Trent with 250 points. Tied for forth place was Dave Bullins of Danville, VA and William McLawhorn of Martinsville, VA with 235 points

Here are the winners of the final Winter Pro Am of this year: 1st place team went to Mike Sigmon, Mike Barber and Jimmy Martin with a -10 under score. Tied at -3 under score were the teams of William McLawhorn, Danny Turner and John Halsey along with J.D. Draper, John Ramsey and Andy Gray.
