There are still spots open for the September section of the Pinchot Loop, as well as Quehanna AND the Allegheny Front Trail. All of these sections have at least one person signed up! The more women we have filling these spots, the more friendship, connection, and education we can build into these trips!

A love letter to you and me.

Since the guided trips went live, I’ve had a ton of interest! I spent a good part of yesterday sending out emails. I’ve already had quite a few women sign up! My heart is bursting with excitement. I can’t wait to share so much of my soul, knowledge, and experience with these women who decide to step out of their comfort zone and go on an adventure with Roaming Wild. The positive feedback and excitement I’ve seen from women about these trips has been tremendous and I am so grateful. I’m especially grateful to the women who understand this is a new business, and are deciding to trust me anyway.

That being said, there’s always going to be those people who don’t see the value in what you’re offering. Someone will always see you differently than you see yourself, and not everyone is going to love your business or want to pay for your services. This is especially true for a new business! It takes time to develop processes through trial and error or gather reviews to share with prospective participants. So what do you do when someone thinks your business idea sucks or comments negatively on something you’ve poured your heart into? This happened to me recently and here is what I’ve decided to do about it. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Of course, constructive criticism or feedback that’s productive to improving your business should certainly be welcomed! The other stuff is pointless. Don’t let the haters drag you down!

A little late to post, but a few friends and I rang in the new year with a 10.4 mile hike on the Loyalsock Trail. It’s incredible that, even in the winter, there is so much beauty to behold.
