We finished the season today, in the Bethesda Girls Basketball League, on a high note with a 20-16 win over a tough Classics team.

The girls played amazing. The coaches and parents are so proud of their growth, their commitment, and their effort. This group is peaking at the right time.

With that we finished 5th over all in a tough 6th grade girls division. The off-season starts now. 🟢🟡🏀

This team continues to impress!!!
The scoreboard doesn’t tell it all. We battled tough today and fell 16-7 in the first round of the Bethesda Girls League End of Season Tournament.

We played harder then our opponent. We played better defense then our opponent. We out rebounded our opponent. And, we out shot our opponent (Just couldn’t get all the shots to fall 😉).

The future is bright for this young group of basketball players.

One more weekend. Then the off-season begins.

Today was a huge step forward for this group. These girls are playing so tough. They played full speed today and it was evident.
In the first game we held the first place team, in the league/ division and in points scored, to just 20 points. In the second game we played another top team, and lead the game three of the four quarters.

We will be back in the gym on Monday to: Keep. Getting. Better. 💪👷‍♀️🏀
