12U Dawgs battled tonight but ran out of gas at the end vs. Tusky Valley. honors went to Nya Mori for solid work behind the plate including gunning a girl down at second. She also added a 2 RBI single late in the game to tighten things up. Avery Zaleski made a nice play on a fly ball in right field and added an RBI single in a tough at bat where she battled late in the game. Solid work girls!!

Also, thanks so much for a few our Dalton High School Softball role models for showing up tonight to cheer us on! Means a lot to these girls to see Mei, Sara, and Hannah there supporting them!!

We are hosting a Rec/Rec All-Star tournament on August 8th and 9th in Dalton, OH with all proceeds supporting Project Outrun. This organization is near and dear to our hearts as they bring hope to so many children battling cancer in our area. Our 10U Lady Dawgs regular season came to an end this morning dropping a dog fight in the tournament. These girls finished with a record of 17-3 with tons of growth along the way. Not too bad for a group that will have 10 players returning to 10U next year! We will continue to work and play through fall to sharpen our skills and continue to develop! Great year so far girls! So much to be proud of!!

Today was an absolute grind for the 10U Dawgs working their way through the Stark County tournament. Girls played four games and live to fight tomorrow! Everyone chipped in but these 4 girls shared honors! Here’s what they did on the diamond today:

Elliana keeps showing strong game IQ, excellent base running, and dropped down an excellent bunt today!

Addie keeps improving and made solid contact in the box. She also ran the bases very well!

Aubrey was an absolute dawg on the mound pitching in 3 games throwing 4 inning with 9 Ks. She was also 2-3 at the plate with 6 walks, 9 runs, and 2 RBIs.

Selah was a MONSTER at the plate going 7-10 with 3 doubles, 6 RBIs, and scored 6 runs. She also threw 8 innings striking out 11.

12U Dawgs went wild today with a huge win! Kyla was 2-2 with 2 triples and 4 RBIs! Nora was lights out on the mound per the usual throwing a perfect game striking out 7 on 27 pitches 24 strikes! Simply unreal!! Congrats on bringing home honors!

Lady Dawgs came out on fire tonight racking up 20 hits and 17 runs vs. Canton South while 3 pitchers combined on a no hitter in the first round of the league tournament! These two lead the way for the offense. Ruby was 3-3 with 2 triples, 2 runs scored and an RBI. She added a perfect inning on the mound with 3 K’s! Lena was also 3-3 with a double, 1 run scored, and 3 RBIs. These two also connected on a sweet back pick at first! Great work on bringing home honors tonight! Let’s keep the momentum going Saturday!!

Another solid night for the 10U Dawgs who headed to Sebring to battle the Warriors. All the girls came to play but these two brought it in the batter’s box! Harper Raber was 2-2 with a HBP, run scored, and drove two balls! Rowan Ge**er smashed two liners up the middle going 2-2 with a walk and 3 runs scored. Congrats on bringing home honors girls! Next stop is the Stark County Girls Fastpitch Association tournament!!
