PC SOX finish 3rd out of 12 teams. Boys played some of the best baseball any 7 year olds could play. Boys finish the weekend 3-3.

SOX drop the first bracket game in a nail bitter. Bang bang play at the plate for BE to win it in the bottom of the 6th with 2 outs. These boys showed up to play baseball against the best around! If we wanna make the whole way we gotta win the next 5 games.

Boys finish pool play 1-1 on the day. We seeded 5th out of 12 teams and earned our way in gold bracket. The bracket we came to play in. Boys played lights out all day with the bats turning cold on us in the 2nd game. Boys play a familiar team we have seen twice so far this year in our 1st bracket play game against a solid Buford Elite tomorrow. If you wanna be the best you gotta play the best. Let’s get it SOX

Boys finish 4-0 on the day bringing home the gold in the NCS Mothers Day Classic. Was a great day of baseball, and even better day on the bases as the moms took the field to show us coaches how to put runs up on the scoreboard in pool play. Happy Mothers Day to the 7u SOX moms! Boys improve to 24-3-1 on the spring season. Next weekend we step on the field against the best of the best around in Rainsville, AL. Won’t come easy but we got 11 boys ready to give it everything.

SOX went into bracket play Sunday against a solid BE Baseball team. Boys were down 13-5 in the top of the 4th. Boys found another gear after a double play made by Langston Hulsey and Jett Helms. Boys were able to battle back taking it all the way to the bottom of the 6th 15-15 with a runner on 2nd and 3rd and Maddox Myatt walking it off with almost another moon shot that hit off the top of the fence. Hats off to BE Baseball that is one of the toughest teams we have stepped on the field with all year. They gave us everything we could handle. Going into semi finals game against another great baseball team Devine Baseball. We have seen Devine twice this year with us winning one, and us also finishing with a tie against them. This time Devine got our number, and come out on top. Congrats to Devine on a great performance, and can’t wait to see y’all again!

Although things didn’t go our way this weekend we had a great time, and a lot of memories were made. Boys have more fight in them than most 7 year olds these days. Being down to a good baseball team, and fighting back until the game is over. Congrats to Lincoln on his first over the fence home run, Jett with 2 more to add on to his collection, and Maddox on his first over the fence home run which turned out to be a grand slam.

Next stop Fort Payne Alabama for these boys in 2 weeks.

SOX go 1-1 in pool play today in the 42 Classic. Seeding 4th. SOX lose the first game to sandy plains wildcats 12-8. Second game of the day we played the hottest team in Georgia BE Baseball. Our bats woke up, and SOX come out on top 17-11. Congrats to #43 Lincoln on his 2 run bomb. #10 Jett on (2) over the fence bombs, and #5 Maddox on a BIG time grand slam in the top of the 5th inning.

Tomorrow we play at 8:30am against a very solid BE Baseball team. Gonna be a hard day for the boys to make it the whole way but let’s go give it everything we got.

SOX took their first L of the spring season in a hard-fought game against a very solid Battle Baseball squad. Hats off to those boys—they came out swinging and kept us on our toes all game.

After a 3-game break, SOX bounced back in a big way against the 7U Appalachian Baseball Club, finding the bats we were missing earlier and taking a 21-3 win.

That momentum carried right into the next game against the 7U Cleveland Dodgers. The bats stayed hot and the defense locked in, jumping out to a 14-0 lead early and never looking back.

SOX finish the weekend as Silver Bracket Champions.

Now it’s time to get back to work and prep for the 42 Classic in two weeks with some of the best 7U teams in Georgia.

Winning is great—but you won’t win them all. Sometimes a loss is exactly what a group like this needs. We’ll see how these boys respond the rest of the season.
