* POSTPARTUM BODY JOURNEY UPDATE!*
Just my honest take on progress and postpartum fitness
So, I’ve been doing lots of cardio and bouncing around BOD trying different workouts.... I gotta be honest guys my nutrition struggles! I love my carbs. I’m stuck at about the same weight as I was 4 weeks pp! I’m determined to get that down. But I am pleased that since I’ve stopped nursing, I seem to be thinning out and showing more muscle tone )or is it just my tan??🤔😋). My blood pressure has *FINALLY* returned to the low end of normal! WAHOO!!! Hopefully the hypertension and diabetic tendencies will fade now that my hormones are starting to balance out!
Ladies and gents-postpartum fitness is so hard. Fat cells definitely seem to hang on harder for longer after a baby! Not to mention the fact that finding extra time and energy for yourself is almost impossible. All the ladies that look like they never had a baby after a couple weeks- you guys are superwomen. I mean wow- this is tough stuff. I love where I’m at, I love my scar, I love the fact that I carried a human. I’m proud of my body in both photos. I haven’t looked at my progress in a while because I felt I was putting so much pressure on myself, and I’m pleased with what I see- especially since I have been eating pretty much what I want for a while! Now it’s time to get my tail in gear and see what I’m made of!
