I haven't always been a fitness fanatic. As a matter of fact when I first started getting back into fitness, I started running and I was a very unhappy with my body, not confident new mom of two and summer was coming, aka bikini season. And being in Texas, we spend our summers on the boat. So I got myself to a double stroller and downloaded the couch to 5K app. I started running with both kids in
the stroller 3 days a week and my son would tell me when to run and when to walk, it was so cute! We would also sing songs, play the color game as we called it, and even stop to feed the ducks. It was fun, but I was not getting the results I was looking for. Yes I felt better, but my body was not changing. And I was not eating properly! So a friend of mine, who had been βbugging meβ for months introduced me to Insanity and Shakeology and it changed my world! I cannot tell you how glad I am that she did not give up on me! My body started changing, my eating improved, I had more energy, my confidence was improving and I was getting stronger! Now I have completed numerous at home programs, I've run 3 marathons (Chicago and Boston x2) and this year I will run my fourth and possibly last marathon. Not only has fitness changed my body, but it has changed my mind and life and I'm excited for the continued growth! Which has also led to me paying it forward and helping others too!
