Canes 2033 finished their last regular season 10u tournament they'll ever play this past weekend.

Playing against some of the best teams from several states, the girls went 3-0 on a hot Saturday with only 1 run allowed going into the last pool game and bracket play on Sunday. We lost a close game to start the day and ended up the #3 seed and then with bracket play came the rain.

Despite having to play in a non-stop downpour the girls comfortably won their first 2 bracket games ( #2 even made her pitching debut in the quarter final). Then, in the semi final we had a dog fight of a game against a top notch opponent who we always play great games with. It was a pitcher's duel and the only run scored came on an inside the park home run by our #55.

The championship game was a back and forth battle with one of the best teams from Alabama. We came up a couple of runs short in the end, but the girls left everything out on the field and our #99 was given tournament MVP for her outstanding pitching all day.

8 games played in 2 days and only 1 team was able to beat us. Proud of this team and the determination they show up with every day, whether it's tournaments, practice, or the work at home.

We will finish our season out with our first 12u tournament this weekend, then head to PCB for the 10u world series. After that it’s middle school ball followed by our first 12u season this fall.

Cheer these girls on as they take a big step forward and continue to chase their dreams.

This team came to play on Saturday! They went 4-1, only allowed 3 runs all day, faced & overcame some taunting from other teams, hit some milestones and were still smiling at the end of the 13 hour day! 💪

These ladies keep getting stronger (mentally and physically), keep picking each other up, and keep working hard. We can’t wait to see what they do next! 🎉

The babydoll was a clap back at the taunting. 😉
