Chesapeake Fishing Open The 4th Annual Chesapeake Fishing Open will be held on Sept. 15-16th, 2023 at Port Covington Marina Stay tuned for updates and to see the donations in action.

To date we have donated over $10,000 to conservation groups who are actively working to improve the water quality in the Middle Branch. The 2022 tournament will be the biggest yet, we're increasing the prize money and expanding the party. We will also be hosting a Kid's Fishing Derby this spring, with rod giveaways and tutorials.

This Week! In September, Port Covington Marina will host the 2023 CFO, but first they've got a great event coming up on Thursday, July 20th! From 5-7:30 a great group of our partner organizations (Coastal Conservation Association Maryland, Oyster Recovery Partnership, Chesapeake Bay Foundation and others!) will be there teaching kids and families about our waterways and ecosystem. At 8 there will be a storytelling event with some local Captains, aquatic entrepreneurs and writers.
