Southern Sky Kung Fu Academy Traditional northern style kung fu. Baguazhang, Jiamen Changquan, Mizongquan, Piguazhang & Taijiquan Currently, kung fu is at a critical point.

Southern Sky Kung Fu exists to teach and promote the traditional martial arts of China, to all who are interested, thru thorough and systematic instruction. In ancient times masters guarded their art like military secrets, and taught few if any students their best training methods and techniques. No longer is anyone, not the art itself, served by limiting or “holding back” instruction from student

s. In fact, without open instruction by qualified teachers, kung fu may vanish from the face of the earth. Southern Sky Kung Fu is committed to the preservation of this art in it’s purest form. Both empty-hand styles and weapons are taught at Southern Sky Kung Fu. Students are assisted in finding the style best suited to their character, physique and ability. Individual instruction permits students to develop at their own pace, with training structured to help them in attaining their potential. Fundamental skills are stressed so that all students have the opportunity to progress to intermediate and advanced levels.

結緣始末─

自從我追隨劉公雲樵先師，習練八極拳，已歷年所之後。劉師檢視我的“（小）八極架”與“（大）八極拳”，不能滿意⋯⋯

原因？則說我是只知狠捶猛打，一味求剛。而於“剛中求柔”、“柔裡調剛”的大原則，成績不足！

劉師明白開示說：「打拳同做人一樣，要能夠外圓而內方。你怎麼打起拳來同你做人一個樣兒；你是內也方，外也方，怎麼能行？！」

於是，規定我再打八極拳時，腳下，「不許打跺子」；手上，「不許發勁」！

當然我謹奉師命，如是打來⋯⋯卻是全身都不得勁，不舒服到了極點！而，對於劉師的用心— “剛中求柔”、“柔裡調剛”之目標，仍然無法達成⋯⋯

無奈，劉師親自領我上門，去向他的好友—杜公毓澤先師，求習陳式太極拳。

仰體劉師的苦心，乃是對症下藥；以太極拳來幫助我在八極拳上的提昇。而、在我自己，則全非意料之中地，竟然喜歡上了太極拳，衷心愛習！
