Information regarding North Texas Yoga class updates. Let me know if you have questions.
On a positive note I’m super stoked to officially be teaching Thursday evening Vinyasa!
Dear North Texas Yoga Community:
In these uncertain times, stress and worry run rampant. Our yoga practice is an invaluable resource that can help us through these hard times. Your concerns are our concerns, as we are all connected. I’ve received messages from a few of you asking about our plans moving forward, and I want to communicate our current plan. As always, the only constant is change and I will continue to communicate any future changes.
As of today, we are still continuing to hold classes. Over the past week, we’ve implemented new cleaning procedures, removed several props, and made a few other changes outlined below.
- all blankets and bolsters have been removed from the studio
- Lysol and/or cleaning wipes are to be used on all props before and after use
- The cubbies have been moved to the front of the studio to limit shoe usage on floors, as shoes can bring unknown elements into the studio
- Disinfectant wipes are provided to wipe down cubbies after use
- Wipes are provided for wiping down mats
- Paper towels have replaced the cloth towel in the bathroom
- Studio floors will be steam mopped daily
- High traffic items such as door handles, stair rails, etc... will be disinfected after each class
We have also canceled our monthly community class at Tupps Brewery for March.
We ask that if you, or any member of your household, are feeling ill, please do not come to class.
Additionally, we have created a private Facebook group for our members, which you can link to here:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/823456994827206/?ref=share
Members of our studio may request to join, and you’ll be added. Through this group, we will be broadcasting live classes from the studio directly to you. These classes will go into effect later this week. We know that a community is more than just four walls, and if you feel the need to stay home, we want to bring the practice to you. If, at some point, the government dictates that we close the studio completely, teachers will have the ability to teach you directly from their home practice spaces.
Thank you for your continued support of our community. I am sending healing prayers into the world for all who are affected.
Laura King, along with Johanna, Katie, Jennifer, Faith, Greg, and Sonia
