Life is filled with transitions. These transitions can be rewarding, challenging, and even painful. The beginning or ending of a relationship; experiencing financial gain or loss; aging of parents; retirement; or the passing of a loved one are just a few examples of life's transitions. When I was young, my family would often take road trips. As a young person I was often anxious to get to where we were going. My brother and I would sit in the backseat. We were equipped with pillows and blankets. We also had games to reduce our boredom, and a cooler full of sandwiches, beverages and other snacks.
