aside from obvious struggles Covid brought to 2020 I’m eternally grateful this year was what it was; I got to move home and have gotten to spend some much needed/lost time with family and most importantly I learned more about myself than I ever thought I would being comfortable in the uncomfortable✨

Faith over fear
Peace over panic
Love over hate
Confidence over comparison

It’s so easy in a time of uncertainty to feel the latter of all of these things. Working in customer service I have seen this unfortunately. People are so quick to show their true colors when crisis hits. So many people have said it; “it’s going to get worse before it gets better” don’t allow the “worse” in this case effect you in the fear, panic, hate & comparison it is so easy to feel right now. I am choosing to stand firm in my faith that is Jesus Christ. I am choosing to have peace in this pandemic that the news wants you so much to have panic. I am choosing to love others, our leaders more specifically who are getting this hate more than any of us right now, whether that be a government official who is perceived of making the “wrong” decision, not being proactive, “not caring enough” or that being a pastor or someone of influence who is “not following” what in someone’s opinion is the right or wrong thing to do during this time. Lastly and most importantly I am choosing to have confidence in this crisis that my God is FAITHFUL; He is not surprised by this & I am confident we are going to get through this stronger than ever. Love y’all💗

This picture is the best representation of how I’m going into 2020; head lifted high with a smile & picturing I have a gold crown👸🏼 because this is exactly who the Lord made me; a QUEEN! 2019 had many ups; downs and everything in between; there were lots of lessons; lots of accomplishments; lots of mistakes but mostly lots of learning about who I am on my own. Going into 2020 I’m not one for New Years resolutions but my prayer/goal for this year is to remember who called me & who’s I am; A DAUGHTER OF THE KING MOST HIGH! Taking a step back; experiencing peace in knowing He is in control of my life. Where I am right now & the blessing this year will bring. Really learning what that looks like & what that means; spending more time in the word & experiencing Him!💛
