She is a mentor, counselor, coach, writer and teacher. In private practice, she is an innovator combining the new, positive understandings of human development, archetypes and depth psychology. She is a teacher of continuing education using the Enneagram personality styles, brain development, Spiral Dynamics and grief recovery. Heather wrote and created the Gift Getaway Retreats to lead women into
their 20 archetypal roles. Her comprehensive personal development course is eight modules of "ReWriting Your Future." After two years of training, Miss Carlile is becoming a Guild Member for the international corporate leadership organization, Archetypes at Work™ which is a new synthesis of Olivier Mythodrama from England and Archetypal Psychology from James Hillman in Dallas. As a Canadian, her initial education was a BFA from the Western Canada Acting Conservatory which prepared her for psychology as a professional counselor, speaker and teacher. Heather enjoys dinner parties, classical concerts (she is a Board Member for the Plano Symphony Orchestra) and jazz performances (especially at The Kitchen Cafe Dallas). She sponsors Ursa, a professional sled dog from Wild and Free Alaska (although her personal pets are two very large Siamese cats).
