Don is going to kick my rear for this, but he turned 88 on Saturday.

If you've ever bought something from Coyote Company Leather, there's a pretty good chance you own something that exists because Don needed it himself first.

He's spent a lifetime hunting, working dogs, talking to hunters, and figuring out better ways to carry the things you need in the field. Then he went to the leather bench and made them.

At 88, he's still doing it.

He's still taking orders. Still making gear. Still talking to customers. Still worrying over whether something is exactly right before it leaves his hands. And judging by how busy Coyote has been lately, plenty of hunters still appreciate the difference.

The very first Coyote shell belt. Mine! And it was the prototype. 29 years old, every loop tight as a drum, and I've hunted ducks, geese, and pheasant from Tx to Kansas!!!!!!! Made several improvements over the years as a result of hunting with this one.
