I missed my marathon goal…..and I’ve never been more proud.

This race gave me lessons about what actually matters in endurance sports especially in running the marathon.

Last week, I recorded a solo Fireside Chat.

These episodes are never easy, even for somebody who likes to talk 🤣, but I wanted to give you a heads up of where I/We are going.

I chat about the which includes and . The focus is on how our focus for the episodes has changed.

I talk about partnering with on and to make sure that we are not only celebrating everyday athletes but also putting on events that will welcome them.

Over the last 5+ years, I have seen a change in how we follow athletes in our sports. Back then I wanted to share their stories, and I still do, but the focus is not on counting metrics but the person themselves.

What makes them tick? What struggles do they have? How are they overcoming the barriers? Why do they keep doing these things?

As we continue to evolve as a company, this is where our focus will be.

The first stop on the Everyday Athlete Clubhouse Run Club Tour went beyond my wildest imagination.

Meeting so many people in the community was emotional. I didn’t know the connections we have built because of the distance between us.

Being in-person changed all of that. We shared stories, laughs, miles and smiles. We also shared our vulnerabilities which deepened the connections.

I am looking forward to the next stop - The - and I want to keep the good times rolling.

The Clubhouse Roundtable is one of my favorite things to do because we get together and chat about anything and everything.

Along the way, we learn about each other and build deeper bonds.

You have a training plan.
You have a race plan.

But do you have a recovery plan?

I have always had a recovery plan because it has kept me from doing stupid sh*t like running 10 miles the week after a race.

This time is no different. As a matter of fact, it is more important to have a recovery plan because the Run Club Tour is just starting and I want to be as prepared for Hustle In The Heartland by as much as I am for the
