Went out with my buddy David Hale Smith yesterday. Did a little trouting at Ben Gill Park in Terrell, then to the farm for some bass and crappie. Great day, gorgeous weather!

Tonight, we welcome Greg DeMars to the shop to host fly tying night. Greg recently authored and released Urban Fly Fishing DFW this spring, which we are thrilled to have as a resource for anglers looking to fish the myriad of local waters in the metroplex.

Greg will be tying two patterns that he frequently relies to fish our local waters, and you can bet they work elsewhere, too. The Baby Bluegill and Topminnow Clouser have been tweaked to mimic two of our local forage fish perfectly.
