Some people are remembered for the championships they win. Others are remembered for the lives they change. Master Brandy Roberts will always be remembered for both.
Brandy Roberts was more than a martial artist—she was a fighter in every sense of the word.
She was a champion on the competition floor, an exceptional instructor on the floor, a compassionate nurse in her profession, a devoted mother to her children, and a loyal friend and mentor to countless people. She poured her heart into every role she held, leaving each one better because she was there.
When cancer entered her life, it was met with the same courage, determination, and unwavering spirit that defined everything she did. She faced the battle with incredible strength and grace, inspiring everyone around her. Although cancer ultimately claimed her life, it never defeated her character, her faith, or the legacy she built.
Today, her influence can still be seen in the instructors she mentored, the students she believed in, the champions she helped develop, and the families whose lives she forever changed. Her legacy isn’t found in trophies or titles alone—it lives on through every person who carries forward the lessons she taught: work hard, serve others, never quit, and always lead with integrity.
The Master Brandy Roberts Legacy Scholarship was created to ensure that her impact continues for generations to come. This scholarship recognizes young men and women who demonstrate not only competitive excellence, but also leadership, perseverance, humility, service, and strong character—the same qualities that made Brandy so extraordinary.
We hope every recipient understands that this scholarship represents far more than financial assistance. It is a reminder that true success is measured not by what we accomplish for ourselves, but by how we invest in others.

Master Brandy Roberts taught us that champions are not defined simply by what happens inside the ring. They are defined by the way they live, the way they love, the way they serve, and the legacy they leave behind. This scholarship is our commitment to ensuring that her legacy will continue to inspire the next generation of martial artists and leaders for years to come.
