💍🥎 RINGS FOR THE FILLIES! 🥎💍
What a weekend for our Fast Pitch Fillies!
While we didn't come home as tournament champions, we came home with something we're incredibly proud of:
⭐ #1 Seed ⭐ Championship Game Appearance ⭐ Tournament Runner-Up ⭐ RINGS!
Most importantly, we came home seeing the growth of every single girl on this team.
These girls battled through a long, hot day with high temperatures and even higher UV levels. They never quit, never stopped cheering for each other, and left everything they had on the field.
As coaches and parents, we couldn't be prouder. This season has never been about stacking a team just to win games. It's been about learning the game, growing together, building confidence, and becoming a family.
The scoreboard doesn't always tell the whole story. The real victories are found in the girls who are becoming more confident, making plays they couldn't make months ago, encouraging their teammates, and believing in themselves.
To our Fillies—thank you for your heart, your effort, and your fight. You earned every bit of this success.
The future is bright for this team. ❤️🖤💛

Some good shots of our girls taken by Nicole Sosbe Hicks from the Gary Philpot Memorial tournament over this last weekend (5-30-2026). This was a special tournament! Not just because it was our first home games, but because for one of our own Hannah Gaunce #00, this was very personal for her family. All the Love and friendship was shown on and around the fields that day.

🥎💛 Growth Over Glory 💛🥎
We believe youth softball is about so much more than the scoreboard.
It's not about stacking a team just to win games. It's not about collecting trophies and rings. And it's definitely not about the final score.
It's about learning.
It's about growing.
It's about becoming one team, one family, and one group of girls who work hard for each other every single day.
The biggest wins don't always show up on the scoreboard. Sometimes the biggest wins are the first time a player catches a fly ball she used to be afraid of. Sometimes it's the girl who finally gets a hit after weeks of hard work. Sometimes it's a player stepping into a new position with confidence, or encouraging a teammate after a tough inning.
So when you see us being loud, cheering our hearts out, and celebrating like we just won a championship while the scoreboard says we're down 1-10, understand this:
We're not celebrating the score.
We're celebrating growth.
We're celebrating effort.
We're celebrating confidence.
We're celebrating our girls becoming better players, better teammates, and better young women.
Because years from now, they won't remember every win and loss.
They'll remember the lessons, the friendships, the laughter, the support, and the memories they made together.
And that's what Fast Pitch Fillies is all about.

They are currently making our Team dugout organizers as well. Will post when they are finished. Ashley Charles made our Team Banner. She worked HARD to make sure it was perfect for us! The girls love it!

This is our VERY FIRST Home Game Tournament for Fast Pitch Fillies. 🥎
Please join us at this tournament and watch all of these talented kids play. This is a Benefit for HMH Cardiology and a Memorial Tournament for Gary Philpot. We are playing for a great cause tomorrow and representing our Home in Cynthiana, KY ❤️
Several of our FPF girls have roots that run deep in this town, and family who has benefited from the knowledge of Gary Philpot and his generous gift of teaching girls how to play Softball. His volunteered time and heart for this county has not gone unnoticed! We celebrate him tomorrow.
Win or lose, we stand tall and proud!
