Coventry Middle School Football

I have some upsetting news for our middle school football team! As of this afternoon, we have officially ended our season. Our game on Wednesday had been cancelled due to field shutting down all athletics for the time being we will not make up the game and will end our season. We will have practice tomorrow as schedule to have a fun practice and to turn in pads and equipment. This is a disheartening message to type. With how our season had started to end I am very proud of how far our boys have come as well as thankful for them coming out to practice and being apart of this team and thankful for our parents for allowing them to be apart of this season.

We will have our final practice tomorrow 4-6 with equipment turn in as well! We will end on a positive note like we always do!

No practice today as we will have a rain storm coming in around 3. As well as multiple kids continuing to not show up to practice on day after game day.... We will revisit Monday full pads 4-6.

So school starts back for the kids this week and so what do parents think practice time should be.

Is it better to go for 3-5 practice or stick with the 4-6?

GAME DAY!
Game starts at 5PM. All athletes need to be at the school by 315. Bus leaves at 330. We are also looking for a volunteer to film the game. The iPad is secured to a tripod all you have to do is follow the ball. We will pay for your ticket into the game. So parents if you have a sibling or step parent grand parent etc who would like to attend the game and one of you is willing to help us out and film please contact either coach Minger or Coach Nahlon.

10/07 @ streetsboro middle school field at 5PM start time and bus will leave at 3:30. Athletes are to be at the school by 3:15.

Wednesday vs Woodridge home at 4 athletes meet at the game field at 3:15. (Makes more sense)

Students will receive a early dismissal that will be sent out from our athletic director to the teachers.
Bus leaves by 3:15. Game will begin at 4 at Springfield high school

9/23- game at Springfield, game starts at 4 students are to be at the school by 2:45-2:50. They will have early dismissal. Bus leaves 3:15
9/24- 4-6 helmets
9/25- 4-6 full pads

As a reminder, tomorrow bus leaves at 4:15. They will need to get to the middle school by 3:30 no later than 3:45. Game will begin 5:00-5:10.

Pay to play will need to be in by 9/21 or have made arrangements, or the athlete will not be able to play. I believe it is 75$. You can call the high school or go in and talk with Tina, pay at the middle school, or pay online at My Kids School Bucks.
