Western Carolina baseball earned the 2025-26 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack and announced today by the coaches' organization. Four Catamount baseball players were selected to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, marking a fourth-straight season that Western Carolina has landed multiple selections on the honorary squad. Outfielders Walker Fox and Jaylen Jones, designated hitter Wyatt Stanley, and fifth-year infielder Trent Turner each earned academic all-district plaudits.
