Becoming an elite defender isn’t just about tackles and clearances, it’s about discipline, awareness, positioning, and mentality.

Here are the 7 keys that we demand from every defender who steps onto the field for us:
1️⃣ Stay light & get out to your marker early
2️⃣ Force attackers wide & deny the inside cut
3️⃣ Contain & delay, don’t rush in
4️⃣ Time your tackle, don’t dive
5️⃣ Use pace to cut off angles when chasing
6️⃣ Adapt, read patterns & movements
7️⃣ Never allow free crosses or shots into the box

Defense is a mindset. Defend with purpose. Defend together.

🔥 ALL STARS. ALL HEART. ALL CSF. 🔥

Out of hundreds of players across the state, only 44 were selected for the 2025 WSCA All-Star Game… and Cudahy/St. Francis is 1 of just 4 schools with multiple players repping the badge!

👟 Musa Touray – CSF’s all-time single-season goal leader (30 goals in 15 games), 6 in a single match, including a bicycle kick & a twice-scored free kick. Second Team All-Conference.

🧤 Emilio Del Aguila – CSF’s all-time saves leader, 3-year All-Conference keeper with 200+ saves this season, 2 PK saves, 2 assists, and ranked top 5 in saves in the state for three straight years.

🎩 Coach Dan Schulz – Honored as an All-Star Coach and continuing to represent CSF with class and leadership.

1st Team All-Conference 🧤💪
Caroline Buczynski anchored our defense all season with 173 saves, 3 clean sheets, and an impressive .820 save percentage. She even stepped up with 1 goal and 2 assists from the back! The wall. The leader. The game changer.

🥈 2nd Team All-Conference – Lyndee Parkinson

2nd Team All-Conference 👟⚽
Captain. Creator. Finisher. Lyndee led from the front with 6 goals and 3 assists in 19 matches. 15 points total and countless moments that lifted our team. A true #10 and heart of the midfield.

🥈 2nd Team All-Conference – Christine Donaldson

2nd Team All-Conference 🔒🚧
Christine shut down opposing attacks with 17 recorded clearances and 4 clean sheets, and added 2 assists from the back line. She brought grit, vision, and leadership every match. The backbone of our defense.

🟣 Honorable Mentions – Lyann Cruz-Diaz & Vanessa Martinez Rodriguez

• Lyann Cruz-Diaz: Technical, composed, and relentless. 7 goals and 1 assist this season.
• Vanessa Martinez Rodriguez: Energizer, playmaker, and hustler. 5 goals, 2 assists.

Shoutout to every senior who’s poured their heart into this team. Tonight wasn’t just a win, it was a celebration of everything we’ve built together. 💜
