Not only has Junior, Aiden Rodriguez, qualified himself for “Fargo Nationals” again this summer, he has also been selected to represent Illinois on the 16u Team Illinois National Freestyle & Greco Dual Team. He will represent Illinois at the Nationals Duals in Utah this June and eventually at Fargo in July.

Qualified representatives of Team Illinois are required to raise $1,800 in order to compete on the team as well as participate in the team camps. The money also goes to cover hotels, gear, bus fares, and a bunch more. Please consider donating to Aiden to help support his trip as he chases his dreams in wrestling. All donations can be made out to Aiden’s Venmo or Cash App in the flyer post above.

Aiden Rodriguez - 3rd Place finish in the 16u 175lb bracket at Freestyle State in DeKalb.

Congrats to Aiden on qualifying for the Freestyle portion of “Fargo” Nationals. He is now a 2x Fargo Qualifier in both styles of the tournament! Next up for him is Regionals tournaments where he will competing to improve his seed for Fargo which will be in July!

Congrats to Aiden Rodriguez on winning the 16u 175lb bracket at Greco State today at Oak Forest High School! He also qualified himself in Greco for “Fargo” Nationals, this July. He will be attempting to qualify in Freestyle as well in 2 weeks at State in DeKalb!

Extending a huge congratulations to our 4 all area wrestlers this season! At 175 lbs, Aiden Rodriguez made the first team. At 106 lbs, Tymen Robinson made the second team. And at 157 and 215, Matt Moritz and Frank Matviychuk received honorable mention honors.

Congratulations and good luck to Freshman Brock Bowden on his qualification for the IWCOa Fresh/Sophomore State Tournament. He qualified last weekend at the Lake Zurich Sectional and will be competing this weekend in Springfield!

Congratulations to Aiden Rodriguez on his 6th place finish in the IHSA State Wrestling Tournament in the 2A 175 lb bracket! The sophomore also ended his season with a record of 43-6! A great ending to an awesome season!
