Thinking about accessing overburden road to fish June lake for late ice crappies or getting to the Huntington access to finish out the season for trout think again!

This is a mess!

There are articles in many news sources that you can search to get more context. The impression that I get is land owners trying to do something new (that sounds pretty cool and offered the state a pretty good deal in exchange) got hard balled by the state. Now they are hard balling back by removing access to this area through some land they own a portion of. So we feel for them but are very disappointed in this closure! It does not feel like a good look taking the ball from everyone else if you can’t play with it.

This will affect water access, fishing, and mushroom hunting far more than it will mountain biking so we feel this one!

We understand that emergency services will still be-able to get through to access injured people but if you go through that area to recreate that a trespassing ticket can and will be issued.

We hope for resolution in this closure as soon as possible and do not take either side. We are disappointed in both groups involved on this issue….

All in a days work for Jack! Warmer weather = hot fishing! Hard house Rentals available until March first and we can use portables after that… can accommodate larger groups with custom adventures.
