On the last day of our “ grey May ” there are so many moments and days I could have chosen: diagnosis day, the first time Lily received Viaticum ( Last Rites and Anointing of the Sick), our first Therapy Dog ( chihuahua), our first Ronald McDonald House, our first night at Children’s Inn, the “ donut of doom” simulations , mask fittings, the coming together of friends, family and community to help us help Lily….. but I leave you with also known as and “affectionately “ called “What the hell do you mean we have to take a helicopter “ Helicopter Day” for a beautiful series called and Jace Ward - .
