It is about that time, the most wonderful time of the year! FOOTBALL SEASON!!!
Important dates to put on the calendar
July 29th and July 30th - Youth football camp for KG-8th grade

REGISTRATION FOR SEASON

KG/1st grade flag fee = $65
2nd-6th grade fee = $110
** $300 max fee - If you have more than 3 children playing simply register for the kids up to $300 amount and then send a FB message to let us know who you didn’t sign up (name and grade) and we will manually put them on the roster.
7th and 8th grade football is through Crawfordsville Middle School, and there are no fees to play.
EQUIPMENT HANDOUTS
July 31st - Equipment handouts. Each player (2nd - 6th grade) that has paid and registered for the season will be fitted with all appropriate equipment.
Equipment includes:
1. Helmet
2. Shoulder pads
3. Padded pants
4. Practice Jersey
5. Game Jersey (need to be returned at the end of the season)
6. Mouthpiece
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Practices will be on Monday and Wednesday evenings 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (6-7 p.m for KG-1st) at Hoover Field.
1ST PRACTICE WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6TH
No practice on Monday the 4th due to Back to School Night! (6th grade may practice depending on coach’s schedule).
IMPORTANT CHANGES TO PRACTICE FORMAT
Over the years of youth football, we have enjoyed the ability to sit on the practice field during practices as parents, and it is awesome to see the support of parents out there! However, we have found that for our players 2nd grade and older, it is beneficial for them to have time to learn how to cope on the football field through the adversity that comes with the sport of football.
We want to create the best possible experience for your football player and develop them into an elite high school football player! You would serve the coaches best by allowing us to coach them uninterrupted for 90 minutes.
In order to accomplish this, we are asking you to not stay at practice (perhaps go to Aldi and get some errands done). If you really want to stay and watch some of the practice, we’d ask you to stay out in the parking lot outside the fence. During water breaks we will keep the teams together and not have players talk to parents.
They will be ok! We promise!

Youth Football Night at CHS will be announced by Week 1 of practice be on the lookout!
GAME SCHEDULE
We are waiting on the official game schedule to be released, as soon as we receive it, we will post it on FB and have printed copies to take home.
COMMUNICATIONS
All communication will be sent through the REMIND app. You can sign up for Remind Messages by following the instructions on the image in the comments or
text to 81010.
Individual coaches may also have their own separate communication strategy for each team, but information such as schedule changes, practice cancellation, or weather delays will be sent league-wide via Remind.
