⚡ Bryan Park Buzz
Back-and-Forth Battle Ends in Tie as Kitchens and Taylor Put On a Show

If you were at Bryan Park on Saturday, you saw one of the most competitive games of the season.

No quit.
No easy innings.
Just two teams going punch for punch until the final out.

OCLL Minors Kitchens and OCLL Minors Taylor finish locked at 7-7 — and honestly, it felt right.

💥 Gentry Sets It Off Early

Right out the gate, Gentry Bone gave Kitchens the spark.

She turned on one and took it all the way for an inside-the-park home run, putting Kitchens on the board and setting the tone immediately.

That’s how you start a game.

🔄 Momentum Swings All Game Long

This one flipped fast and often.

Taylor answered with a big inning to take control early.
Kitchens came right back in the next frame and took it right back.

Then Taylor answered again.

Then Kitchens tied it.

Back and forth. All game.

🚀 Macie Comes Through Big

When Kitchens needed a moment, Macie Cole delivered it.

Her two-run triple was one of the biggest swings of the game — turning momentum and bringing her team right back into it.

Big moment. Big response.

⚡ Speed Was the Difference on Both Sides

This game was played FAST.

• Kitchens with aggressive baserunning and multiple stolen bases
• Taylor answering with double-digit steals of their own

Every runner was a threat. Every pitch mattered.

That kind of pressure forces action — and both teams embraced it.

🧱 Defense Shows Up

You don’t get a game like this without discipline.

Both teams:

• Strong communication
• Making routine plays under pressure

That’s winning softball on both sides.

⭐ Lakelyn Parker Steps Up Big

One of the best moments of the game?

Lakelyn Parker stepping into the circle for her first Minors appearance.

And she didn’t just step in — she competed.

Calm. Confident. Composed beyond her age.

For a young player stepping into that moment, she was fantastic and gave her team exactly what they needed.

That’s the kind of growth you build a program on.

💪 Taylor Brings the Fight

Taylor showed exactly why they’re tough to beat:

• Ellis T delivering big RBIs
• Consistent pressure at the plate
• Aggressive baserunning all game long

They didn’t back down once.

❤️ What This Game Meant

This wasn’t about who won.

This was about:

• Competing every inning
• Answering adversity
• Young players stepping into big moments

Because games like this?

They build confidence.
They build teams.
They build something bigger than the scoreboard.

And Saturday night proved it —

both of these teams are growing into something special.

Rookie Kitchens Break It Open in the Third, Take Down Blackwell in Saturday Showdown

Bryan Park was loud Saturday, and the OCLL Rookie Kitchens girls gave the home crowd plenty to cheer about in an 8-2 win over Rookie Blackwell.

This one had energy from the start, but it was one explosive inning that changed everything.

🚀 Kitchens Strike First

Kitchens wasted no time jumping out in front.

In the first inning:
• Pressure forces an early mistake that brings in runs
• Bexley Nation follows it up with a clutch RBI single

Quick start. Early momentum. Dugout fired up.

💥 The Third Inning That Took Over

Then came the third — and this is where Bryan Park felt it.

Kitchens put up five runs in a stretch where everything clicked:

• Bexley Nation gets it started with another RBI single
• Harper Smith delivers a big two-run hit
• Zackari Kitchens keeps it rolling with an RBI knock
• Lakelyn Parker caps it off with a strong double

Hit after hit. Runner after runner.

That inning didn’t just add runs — it shifted the entire game.

🔥 Lakelyn Leads the Way

At the plate, Lakelyn Parker was locked in all game long.

She went 3-for-3, driving the offense and setting the tone every time she stepped in.

Consistent. Confident. Productive.

💪 Big Swings in the Middle

The middle of the lineup came through in a big way:

• Bexley Nation with multiple big hits and RBIs
• Harper Smith delivering clutch runs

When the moment got big — they got bigger.

🧱 Defense Holds Strong

Once Kitchens grabbed control, they stayed composed and finished it out with clean, confident defense.

No panic. No breakdowns. Just steady play to close the door.

⚡ Blackwell Keeps Competing

Credit to Rookie Blackwell, who stayed in it and continued to battle, showing effort and energy throughout.

That kind of fight is what builds strong teams moving forward.

❤️ Kitchens Are Heating Up

What stood out most?

This team is starting to click.

• Timely hitting
• Strong communication
• Confidence building every inning

And when they get an inning like that third?

They’re tough to slow down.

Because Saturday wasn’t just a win…

It was a team finding its rhythm — and letting Bryan Park feel every bit of it.

⚡ Bryan Park Buzz
Rookie Blackwell Rides Big Bats and Clean Defense to Win Over Washington Wilkes

Thursday night at the Oglethorpe County Recreation Department, Rookie Blackwell came out sharp, stayed aggressive, and backed it up with a complete team performance in a 6-1 win over Washington Wilkes.

🔥 Lorelai W Sets the Tone

From the start, Lorelai W controlled the pace of the game.

Confident. Composed. Locked in.

She kept things steady in the circle and gave her team exactly what they needed — a chance to play fast, aggressive softball behind her.

💥 Blackwell Bats Get Rolling Early

Blackwell wasted no time getting on the board.

In the first inning:

• Leillani C comes through with an RBI single
• Early contact, early pressure

They didn’t wait around — they attacked.

🚀 Third Inning Breaks It Open

The big separation came in the third, and it was all about timely hitting:

• Piper E drives in a run
• Iva Jean B delivers
• Adalyn M adds another

Hit after hit, runner after runner — Blackwell stacked quality at-bats and turned it into runs.

💪 Lineup Depth Shows Up

This wasn’t one player carrying the load — this was a full lineup working together:

• Leillani, Lorelai, Emmie Kay, Adalyn, and Iva Jean all collecting multiple hits
• Constant pressure from top to bottom
• No easy outs anywhere in the order

That’s what makes this team dangerous.

🧱 Defense Was Locked In

One of the biggest differences in this game?

Clean defense.

• Strong communication
• Plays made when they mattered

And behind the plate, Birdie-Grace B stayed active all game long, leading the team with chances and keeping everything under control.

⚡ Washington Wilkes Battles Back

Washington Wilkes didn’t go quietly.

• Sophie stayed hot at the top with three hits
• Sadie added multiple hits
• Consistent contact kept them competing

They put the ball in play and kept fighting every inning.

❤️ Complete Team Win

This one was built the right way:

• Pitching that set the tone
• Bats that delivered in big moments
• Defense that didn’t give anything away

Because Thursday night wasn’t just a win…

It was a statement from Rookie Blackwell that they can hit, they can field, and they can play together from first pitch to last out.

Skylar F Throws a No-Hitter, Ava H Goes Perfect at the Plate in Dominant Sanders Win

Thursday night belonged to OCLL Majors Sanders — and it started and ended with one word:

Dominance.

A complete team performance powered Sanders to a 10-2 win over Elbert County Rays, and it was headlined by a performance in the circle that doesn’t come around often.

🚫 Skylar F: No Hits. No Doubt.

Skylar F was locked in from the first pitch.

No hits allowed.
Composed. Focused. In control.

And when the game was on the line?

She finished it the right way — strikeout to close it out.

That’s not just a good outing.

That’s a statement performance.

🔥 Ava H Couldn’t Be Stopped

While Skylar handled business in the circle, Ava H put on an absolute clinic at the plate:

• 4-for-4 day
• Two doubles
• Two singles
• Consistent, loud contact every time up

Every at-bat mattered, and Ava delivered every single time.

That’s as complete of a hitting performance as you’ll see.

⚡ Sanders Apply Pressure Early

Sanders wasted no time getting things going:

• Early runs forced by pressure and smart baserunning
• Timely hitting to extend innings
• Taking advantage of every opportunity

They didn’t wait for the game to come to them — they took control early and never gave it back.

🏃‍♀️ Chaos on the Bases

Once Sanders got on, they turned it into problems:

• 8 stolen bases
• Lux K swiping three bags
• Constant movement forcing rushed decisions

That kind of speed changes everything.

It keeps defenses guessing. It keeps pressure high.

🧠 Disciplined at the Plate

This wasn’t just swinging — this was smart softball:

• 5 walks drawn
• Working counts
• Staying patient

They made every pitch matter.

💪 Total Team Performance

This wasn’t just one player or one moment.

This was:

• Skylar dominating in the circle
• Ava leading the charge at the plate
• Speed, discipline, and teamwork across the board

Everything clicking at the same time.

Because nights like this?

They show what a team is capable of when it all comes together.

And on Thursday night —

OCLL Majors Sanders showed exactly how dangerous they can be.

⚡ Bryan Park Buzz
Rookie Kitchens Battle Back, Blake Watts Brings the Boom in Win Over Rookie Blackwell

Tuesday night at Bryan Park had everything you want in Rookie ball — energy, momentum swings, and a couple moments that had the whole place buzzing.

OCLL Rookie Kitchens took down Rookie Blackwell 6-4, but this one was earned.

Blackwell Comes Out Swinging

Rookie Blackwell set the tone early with aggressive bats:

• Birdie-Grace B with a solid single
• Leillani C driving a double into the gap
• Re*****on R turning on one for a triple

That’s pressure from the first pitch. They came ready.

💥 Blake Watts Changes the Game

Bottom of the second. Big moment.

Blake Watts stepped in and took over.

On a 3-0 count, she stayed confident, attacked the pitch, and sent it deep for an inside-the-park home run, driving in three runs.

Dugout exploded. Fans on their feet.

That swing flipped everything.

🚀 Zackari Kitchens Sets the Tone

And let’s talk about a moment that matters for this whole season…

Zackari Kitchens came out and put the very first kid pitch ball in play.

No hesitation.

That’s confidence. That’s readiness. That’s exactly the mindset you want at the top.

Setting the tone like that doesn’t just impact one at-bat — it sets the energy for the entire lineup.

Kitchens Keep Applying Pressure

Once they grabbed momentum, Kitchens kept building:

• Lakelyn Parker came through with big swings and 3 RBIs
• Zackari and Lakelyn back-to-back creating problems all night
• Timely hitting that kept innings alive

When this lineup gets going, it stacks quickly.

Defense Closes It Out

After taking the lead, Kitchens locked in:

• Clean defense
• Smart decisions
• No mistakes

Henslee R led the way with multiple plays, staying active and steady in the field.

Blackwell Battles to the End

Blackwell never backed down.

They kept swinging and competing all the way through with eight hits and strong performances from Leillani and Birdie-Grace.

This was a fight the whole way.

❤️ What This Game Was About

This one had everything:

• Blake’s game-changing home run
• Zackari setting the tone from pitch one
• Two teams competing hard and playing the game the right way

Because nights like this?

They build confidence.
They build teammates.
They build love for the game.

And both of these teams showed exactly what that looks like.

⚡ Bryan Park Buzz
Minors Kitchens and Taylor Battle in High-Energy Showdown Packed with Hustle and Heart

Tuesday night at Bryan Park brought one of those games you don’t forget — not because of the score, but because of the fight, the energy, and the nonstop action from both OCLL Minors Kitchens and OCLL Minors Taylor.

From the first inning, this one felt different.

No easy outs.
No quiet moments.
Just two teams competing, adjusting, and pushing each other every single inning.

⭐ Big Moment: Zailie Steps Into the Circle

One of the biggest moments of the night had nothing to do with the scoreboard.

Zailie Kitchens took the circle for the first time in a live game.

That’s a big step. And she didn’t shy away from it.

She showed courage. She competed. She stayed in it.

That’s what growth looks like in real time.

Moments like that matter more than anything you see in a stat line — and it’s something she’ll build on every time she steps out there again.

Kitchens Keep Answering

After Taylor jumped out early, Minors Kitchens didn’t blink.

They came right back in the bottom of the first and matched the energy, working tough at-bats and forcing their way on base:

• Blake W starts it off
• Karissa W, Dallas B, and Lakelyn P keep it rolling
• Walk after walk, pitch after pitch — Kitchens kept the pressure on

That inning alone showed exactly what this team is built on:

Patience. Awareness. Fight.

Macie Comes Through

In a game full of traffic on the bases, Macie Cole delivered the only hit of the night for Kitchens — and made it count.

She stepped in and came through when it mattered, helping drive in runs and keep her team right in the middle of the game.

That’s stepping up.

Lakelyn and the Middle Keep Producing

Lakelyn Parker stayed steady and delivered in big spots, driving in runs and keeping the offense moving.

The middle of the lineup kept Kitchens within reach all game long.

Taylor Applies Constant Pressure

On the other side, Minors Taylor stayed disciplined and aggressive.

They worked counts, put runners on, and then turned that into constant motion on the bases.

With 22 stolen bases, they forced action every single inning and kept the pressure high.

That style of play is tough to slow down.

Defense and Discipline Show Up

Taylor backed it up defensively with a clean, no-error game.

Samantha Love led the way, staying active and reliable in the field and helping lock things down.

Kitchens Show Fight Until the End

Even trailing, Kitchens kept pushing.

• 13 walks
• 11 stolen bases
• Nonstop pressure

They never backed off and made sure this stayed a game from start to finish.

A Game That Builds Both Teams

This game was about more than the final score.

It was about:

• First-time moments like Zailie stepping into the circle
• Teammates picking each other up
• Learning how to compete under pressure

Both teams left better than they came in.

Because nights like this?

They build confidence.
They build toughness.
They build teams.

And both of these groups are building something real.
