RI 8U STATE TOURNAMENT

Pool Play Games
Game 1 vs Stone Crabs: ✅ 16-5
Game 2 vs West Warwick: ✅ 20-8
Game 3 vs Crush White: ✅ 13-5

The girls took care of business by winning all three of their pool play games. The bracket is set for tomorrow, the final day of softball for this amazing group of girls!

Our first (quarterfinal) game is scheduled for 10:20AM against Crush White!

This is the last chance to come out and support our girls!! Hope to see you at Winslow Park!

Game 3 vs Crush White: Friday 6:30PM

The girls were relentless at the plate tonight, continuously hitting the ball to the outfield and running the bases flawlessly!

Highlights
- The Bombers scored the max, four runs in every inning of the game.
- The Bombers only hit into four total outs across the five innings they batted.
- Congratulations to Brielle on hitting another home run!!

We play again Friday night at Winslow Park at 6:30 - Field 2. We expect a MUCH closer game against a formidable Coventry Crush team!!

RI 8U STATE TOURNAMENT

Pool play Game 1: ✅ 16-5
vs Stone Crabs (Cumberland)

The girls brought the sticks tonight! They scored the max, 4 runs, in each of the first three innings. That opened up a 12-1 lead for the Bombers. The game was called after just 4.5 innings due to the run rule.

The defense was once again outstanding with more highlight reel catches!!

Back at it tomorrow night at Winslow Park at 6:30. Come out and support our girls!!

Our RI State tournament journey begins tonight, with an extra special treat for the girls: getting to play under the lights. Come on out to Whipple Fields in Smithfield to support our youngest Bombers team! 7:30PM vs Stone Crabs!

I know a lot of people that assume 7-year old softball players pick dandelions, and play in the dirt all game.

Allow me to introduce you to a girl that just turned 7 two months ago (USA Softball age is 6). She is the youngest player on the team, the smallest player on the team, but also one of the hardest workers on the team.

In this video, she’s out in right field and you’re about to see her make the catch of the year for our team.

Please come out and support our girls this week at the RI 8u State Tournament. This team is peaking at the perfect time, with back-to-back 2nd place finishes in our last two tournaments.

Our first game is Wednesday night (08/05), under the lights in Smithfield vs Stone Crabs.
