While running errands the other day, I ran into a new mom I didn’t know super well yet but has checked out our giving corner a few times.
After we said hi she turned back around and told me she liked my post about how things are tight right now, but as moms we get creative and make it work.

She said she started a list of everyone’s tips and tricks and has already tried several of them ❤️

I shared about how I’ve made things work as a single mom over the years and some of the crazy things we’ve survived, because I don’t show up as someone who just teaches from a textbook… I show up as a real mom who has lived it, figured things out, learned along the way, and is cheering you on to succeed!

She has now joined a few groups and wants to learn more about the life skills I teach while having a community of support!

Honestly that’s exactly why I share these things.

Sometimes one little post, one tip, one group, and a vulnerable honest conversation can remind another mom that she doesn’t have to do this alone.

That’s why I’ve built a village!

What is your most unhinged morning sickness tip that actually helped you?

From Preggie Pops, to saltines on your nightstand, to essential oils… to holding a pencil in your mouth (wait, that was for hiccups lol).

What’s the biggest lie out there?

I’ll go first…

6–8 weeks postpartum being the “finish line” is a lie, and it doesn’t set us up for success!

That is why I’m dedicated to working with families for much much longer!

I love that I get to walk alongside families for such a long season of their journey. Some families hire me as soon as they find out they’re pregnant, and from there we build a relationship that continues through every stage.

From childbirth education, infant feeding, and newborn care classes, to the birth itself, getting plugged into our village, and into postpartum support and their baby’s entire infant feeding journey, I get the honor of being there through so many of the milestones, questions, challenges, and beautiful moments.

Being trusted during such a transformative time in a family’s life is something I never take for granted. ❤️
