🏁 HARTWELL RACE RECAP 🏁
We finally decided to load up and give Hartwell a try, and WOW… we are so glad we did!
The facility was absolutely amazing and the safety personnel were top notch. We will definitely be making our way back there soon! They had 4 different food trucks, multiple concession stands and the CLEANEST restrooms I have ever seen at a dirt track!
They ran 10 different classes with over 130 cars and somehow we were still loaded up and out of there by 1:30 AM! That is something you don’t see every night!
As for our night… we qualified 2nd fastest out of 22 cars and started on the outside front row. Unfortunately, we got completely ran over on the first lap, just like a lot of other cars did last night. We had to come in and put on a new tire on Lap 1 and just hope the damage would still allow us to finish the race.
Somehow, we fought through it and brought home a 5th place finish at a track we had NEVER been to before!
We are definitely looking forward to getting back to Hartwell soon! If you haven’t been to Hartwell Speedway, go give them a try! You will absolutely be amazed by how smoothly everything is ran, the facility and the entire atmosphere.
