🏈 Meet Our 8U QB/Safety – Andrew Smith 🏈

⭐ Favorite Player: Lamar Jackson
⭐ Fun Fact: Andrew was born in San Antonio, Texas, on a military base!

Andrew is one of the OGs of Ballers Elite, starting his journey with us as a league All-Star. Over the last two years, he has grown tremendously both on and off the field. His hard work, dedication, and commitment to getting better have helped lead our 8U team to 3 championship game appearances in our last 4 tournaments, bringing home 2 championships and 1 runner-up finish!

Each week, Andrew’s confidence continues to grow, and it’s exciting to watch him develop into the player and young man he is becoming. He may be one of the quietest kids you’ll meet, but he’s also one of the most respectful. When it’s game time, he leaves it all on the field and gives 110% every single play.

We are proud of you, Andrew, and can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next!

🏈🔥 Super proud of these boys today! It was a scorching hot day on the turf, but they battled through it and showed a ton of heart!

Both teams went undefeated in pool play! 💪

Our 10U squad made a great run before running out of gas in the semifinals. We went down to 6 players but these boys played tough all day! The improvement these boys have made is incredible, and the future is bright!

Our 8U team stayed red hot, allowing only ONE offensive touchdown all day! They fought their way to the championship game and came up just short, falling 13-12 after surrendering two kickoff returns. Tough way to lose, but adversity builds champions. This one will humble them, motivate them, and make them even tougher moving forward.

Couldn’t be more proud of the effort, toughness, and teamwork these boys showed today. The work doesn’t stop here—we’ll be back stronger than ever!
