⛳️ MEET OUR BOOSTER CLUB: Tia Samuel! 🐯

We’re excited to highlight one of the dedicated parents who helps make Coweta Golf possible!

Tia is a single mom, accountant, lover of Jesus, and proud golf mom to Jordan Phipps. Jordan started playing golf around age 7 or 8 through the First Tee program and has since had the opportunity to play some incredible local courses, including Southern Hills and Golf Club of Oklahoma. These days, you can often find Jordan at BattleCreek 3–4 times a week, practicing or playing alongside teammates and friends. 🏌️‍♂️

This is Tia’s third year with Coweta Golf and her second year serving as Booster Club President. She’s passionate about supporting our players and helping build a stronger program for both today’s golfers and future Tigers.

☕️ Tournament morning fuel: Protein coffee
🥨 Favorite course snack: Turkey Chomp, protein bars, or salt & vinegar almonds
🐰 Family pet: A bunny named Sparky
🧡 Favorite golfer: Jordan, of course!

Her message to our golfers is one we love: “Believe in yourself! Do your best (not perfection) at all times, whether at practice or playing, and keep a positive attitude. You will go as far as the work you put in!”

Tia's goal for Coweta Golf this year? Continue raising funds to improve our golf facility for our students and future students.

And her advice to new golf parents? “Don’t compare Junior High golf to High School golf. I didn’t understand until I learned more about the program and what the state allows. Junior High has a max of 4 tournaments a season and sometimes they are hard to find. Also, get involved with the golf program whether that’s chatting in the group chat, showing up to support your golfer and team, helping to make sure the players are fed, or supporting the program as a whole any way you can! ❤️

We’re so thankful for Tia Samuel and all she does for Coweta Golf! 🐯⛳️
